planning for an occasion
Anniversaries, proposals and group tables on the Seine
What to book, and what to ask for, when the dinner cruise is built around a celebration rather than just an evening out.
Reserve your table on the Seine ↗Occasions and options
| Occasion | What to look at |
|---|---|
| Anniversary dinner | Excellence, for the Champagne aperitif and four courses |
| Proposal | Any of the three menus, marked at your table |
| Birthday group | Prestige or Excellence; vegetarian and vegan dishes on both |
| Family dinner | Harmonie or Prestige, with children's menus |
Booking for an anniversary
The Excellence menu's Champagne aperitif and extra courses make it the tier most couples choose for an anniversary; ask at booking about a window table, though it's given priority rather than guaranteed.
Marking a proposal at the table
A proposal can be arranged at the table on any of the three dinner menus — mention it when you book so the crew can note it, without needing a separate package.
A birthday or celebration group
Prestige or Excellence both work for a group booking, and vegetarian and vegan dishes are on every menu, so the table doesn't need to match on diet.
Bringing children
A children's menu is available across all three standard tiers for ages four to twelve, priced apart from the adult menus, so a family dinner doesn't need a separate booking.
What the crew can't promise
Window seating isn't guaranteed on any menu; it depends on the boat and the night, though Excellence is given priority when possible.
Timing it around the Tower
For a proposal or anniversary toast, the Eiffel Tower's five-minute sparkle on the hour is worth checking against the dinner's timing, since the return leg passes close to it before 10:45pm.
